How to Install ivy software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

ivy software package provides agile dependency manager, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ivy

ivy is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ivy package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ivy *

You will get with ivy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
